Hi, I'm Nasra Hassan, excited to be joining the Master's program in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at Carleton University in Fall 2024. My academic endeavor began in Carleton University where I completed the Bachelors of Information Technology (IT) program with a focus on Information Resource Management (IRM). While completing my major I had the opportunity to achieve a business minor where I nurtured my entrepreneurship skills to go hand in hand with my technology skills. Additionally, during my undergraduate years, I was exposed to numerous opportunities within the research field. Not restricted to technology, some were conducted with business background.

Currently, I am working as a Support Analyst within the Government. As part of my role, I focus on project management including operating under the Scrum methodology. As a Scrum Master, I conduct multiple projects employing nearly all the known management techniques and theoretical structures in ensuring a successful project management.

I look forward to the challenges and discoveries that lie ahead in this exciting new chapter of my academic and professional journey, with a particular focus on the privacy and security field.
