Kazma Chaudhry

I'm currently completing my Masters in HCI, co-supervised by Dr. Hala Assal and Dr. Sonia Chiasson. Before starting my Masters at Carleton, I completed a BA in Psychology from the University of Waterloo where I cultivated my interests in the overlap between psychology/cognitive science and technology. My Masters research topic focuses on the privacy implication of e-proctoring software, and exam surveillance practices in higher education. Aside from my graduate research work, I'm also taking the opportunity to complete a summer internship at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) as a UX researcher. When I'm not writing up research manuscripts or running user interviews, my hobbies usually involve riding public transit and petting my cat (or any other pets I can find).
